Access in Finland

Backbone Networks Europe does not run a physical local access network - we provide the ports and routing, and local access is normally provided through your local access company. We can provide complete offer to your location by request.

Access Port Pricing

By default, service includes best-effort capacity at port speed to local Internet Exchange. International capacity is included for comfortable office use and typical WWW server use. If your International capacity need includes continuous streaming, big software distribution site or other bandwidth-heavy services, please check the pricing - we can provide wide range of capacity and access options and can advice you on optimal solution for capacity, including Co-locating next to major Internet Exchanges world-wide instead of keeping the servers in Finland.

Our Business Park Rate is valid in Business Parks we are present through Fiber or high-speed DSL. As the cost and availability is location-dependent, please ask for specific price.

We do not have domestic access product, but we do provide access ports to Home Network Groups building their own networks for apartment buildings or areas. We can bill end-users directly according to Home Network Capacity Rate. We find home-built home networks cool and are happy to advice and get you in contact with other groups working with similar targets. The quoted price does not include price of local access line, but we can quote that included by request.

Additional Services

The news server access is normally included in our access and hosting services. The price is access for non-network customers. We currently require fixed IP address, but other options are coming.
